TP 227: Warmth

 Christmas Warmth

The temperature here on Christmas day was about 26˚C (79˚F), and the weather was very humid and drizzly.

Sophie was keen to be outside, but didn't fancy getting wet...

By the time the turkey was ready, we weren't just warm - we were HOT!

I was very happy when the cool of evening eventually rescued us:

  1. Hey, where'd you get the picture of my cat?
Cute cat, and a beautiful sunset. Bet you're enjoying the summer evenings, eh? We've had snow 3 of the last 4 days, and now it's supposed to clear up and get real cold. I'll be needing some warmth.

    1. She must be growing up, KLo - she only tried to rip the decorations off a few times :)

  4. Oh I'll take your hot any day! We are far from warm here, and the snow just won't stop falling! Good for nature, but even my outdoor groundskeeper, Monster, is about ready to buy a ticket to sun and sand! Ha ha ha! You have warmed my heart with kitty, and tree and talk of hot!!!

    1. We have seen the terrible floods on the news, Bob. Mr A, who was born in the UK, is quite pleased to be sweltering here!

      Happy New Year :)

  7. i LOVE your COOL evening sunset.
and sophie looks a lot like emo...but she's a bit bigger!
(we were worried about putting up our tree this year...thought emo might try to climb it...but he didn't! he was such a good kitty. of course i didn't hang all the tempting decorations either...partly because i just wasn't INTO it this year...and partly because, well, i just didn't want to TEMPT emo that much!!)

    Happy New Year Alexia!

    1. And to you Laura!
They are all so alike, that I think Emo, Sophie and Max's 2 cats must be brothers and sisters under the fur ;)

  8. Cats take comfort loving to a whole new dimension don't they? Our Christmas was grey and cool (for which I was very, very grateful). That is a spectacular sunset - thank you.
