Spring, continued...

In the garden today:

a lovely pink rhododendron

 a pretty pink-and-white weigela

old roses on an old fence

and an iris of a delicate apricot shade

Have a sunny Sunday, everyone!

  3. We share many of the same plants it seems. I love that apricot iris. Mine seem to be mostly darker, though I do love the burgundy one.
Thank you for this peek into your world. I loved it.

    1. Thanks EC. The apricot one is lovely, but doesn't survive spring winds very well.

  4. Love the apricot Iris. We have some uninspiring purple ones which withdrew their flowers last year, some protest we assumed.

    1. Cheers Kiwi. My preferred irises are the Japanese ones, but in a rented garden, you take what you get :)

    3. PS. this is one of the necest weigelas I've seen - they can get pretty leggy and straggly. There's a plain pink and a dark pink available, but I like this variegated one.

  8. I think that Iris is smiling at the camera. (Unfortunately, it has sort of an Audrey II expression.) :D
