Late as usual...
Here are my "taken from behind" pics for TP 209:
Changing the guard at Ataturk's Mausoleum.
Ankara, Turkey.
Kids messing about at the harbour. Tauranga, New Zealand.
A boy and his dog:
A favourite photo of my grandaughter, aged about 18 months:
My son walks ahead of me down an alley in Barcelona:
Lovely, lovely shots. That Barcelona shot is incredible. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you EC. It's one of my favourite places ever - have you been there?
DeleteNo, I've haven't, but that photo had me yearning...
DeleteAs always, excellent. I especially like the guards -- although I'm now humming that Yo-He-Ho, Yo-o tune from The Wizard of Oz. :)
ReplyDeleteBut they don't have tails, Lisa...UNLESS they're hidden under those coats!
DeleteVery nice shots, Alexia.
;-)
Thank you both. ;)
Deletegreat photos...love the little girl
ReplyDeleteThanks CC I'm very attached to her myself :D.
DeleteSadly, her parents are about to move her and her brother to Australia.
I love all the photos, and my granddaughter's is my favorite. The way her tiny form moves forward, purposely and stumbling at the same time. Totally beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHello Magaly :)
DeleteThank you for visiting. She's a very purposeful young lady!
Oh it's never too late, TP goes on all week! Especially since life/work get in the way of blogging all the time! These are just great rear views, I can hear their footsteps pounding together as they march, and I remember this darling photo of your grand-daughter, it's so special! May I say again, I really like what you've done to your blog, it's very stunning and has such a comfy feel when I visit!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen - I tend to mess about with it too much - but I like the way it looks at the moment :)
DeleteA good series of pictures, for me the last one is the best.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Thank you Filip.
DeleteGreat pictures. Really like the one of the game of fetch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Max. I like that shot too.
DeleteNice shots Alexia. How difficult is it to get on to that island off Tauranga?
ReplyDeleteNo island there, Kiwi - the kids are on a jetty on the Tauranga side of the harbour; the "hill" in the background is Mount Maunganui.
DeleteThanks :)
Oh yeah, I see. We go to the Mount for our late Summer hols. and we went out Dolphin watching once and would like to see a bit more of it.
DeleteEs sind fantastische Aufnahmen...
ReplyDeleteLieben Gruß
CL
you're not late alexia!!
ReplyDelete(i joined up with the thematic photos this week...and one of the reasons is because we have ALL week to post a picture!!)
anyway...great BEHIND pictures...my favorite would be your grand daughter too! so CUTE...i can see her moving in my mind...trying hard to go a bit faster than she safely can at this time! determined. =)
What an awesome series! I love how in every case, the camera is so perfectly removed from what's going on. They don't know you're there...and as a result their behaviors are completely untouched by what you're doing. Natural. Real. Superb in every way, and they remind me why I love to both take pictures, and appreciate those taken by friends.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful pictures.
