This morning I walked in to school at 7.15, as usual, and suddenly saw a leaf
that is actually turning!
I was beginning to think this was going to be a colourless autumn.
We have been having a few cooler nights. Still no rain, though...
Thematic Photographic 239: Leaves
No rain here either. It has been promised but hasn't happened. (Except for incontinent pigeon rain - splat, splat and it is gone.)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to going to Adelaide on the 23rd. My daughter tells me it's still hot there - 31 yesterday!
DeletePretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's been pouring all night in Berkeley Springs, W.V.
Most of the trees here still don't have leaves, although in D.C. the cherry blossoms are blooming.

I love those red leaves - are they a sort of oak?
ReplyDeleteThanks Gilly - yes, it's an oak of some sort.
DeleteP.S. NOW the trees are getting their leaves...the forest looks greener each day.
ReplyDelete~
I'm sure there's a jetplane post around here somewhere...

On its way, thunder :)
DeleteI love that this planet has two hemispheres, as well as technology like this to share opposing seasons between them.
ReplyDeleteHere's to limitless color no matter where we are!
Hi Carmi! I hope your hemisphere is getting some green by now. My nephew in Thunder Bay says they had the worst snowstorm he can remember this weekend!
