In the face of this week's theme, lacking ideas and inspiration, I opened the door of my refrigerator and took a photo:
Inside the fridge door: yoghurt, beer, milk, water, lemonade, and wine. Something for every taste!
(No juice, though - too much sugar)

Haha very good. I think my equivalent shelf has some sauces in which wouldn't quite count. Love the variation in this!
ReplyDeleteI think this would be quite a good theme for Carmi - "What's in the fridge?"
DeleteOh, thanks, now I have an idea!
ReplyDelete(Not the fridge...a fancy bottle of whiskey I've got stashed in the book cuboard.)
~
Oh! I didn't think of taking a photo of what's in the bottom of the spare room wardrobe...
DeleteBourbon whiskey dumped on 2-19-10...93 proof.
Delete;-)
Fun idea. However, even sugary juice is unlikely to be as bad for you as the soda or the beer. :)
ReplyDeleteIf I photographed the inside of my fridge right now, the only drinks would be milk and some pumpkin-flavored (non-alcoholic) egg nog from a local dairy. Obviously, that latter item is seasonal.
The soda is no sugar - Mr A is diabetic so he buys that. I dislike soda and don't drink it, sweetened or not.
DeleteI'm sure pumpkin-flavoured egg-nog is good - but to my tastes it sounds horrific! Does it have actual pumpkin in it? If not, what makes it taste like pumpkin...
:}
Great idea! My shelf is very boring!
ReplyDeleteLet me pour you a drink, Gilly...
DeleteNow that is well-rounded drink-up shelf, with I can only imagine, tea brewing as well as wait, do I smell coffee! Yes! Your Wither Hills, looks like something I'd be pulling out to sample right about now!
ReplyDeleteTea, coffee - what would we do without our little treats?
DeleteI like it. Nice variety of sizes, shapes and colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks Max.
DeleteLove it. Our fridge has water, three different types of milk, and several types of juice. The water and two of the milks are mine (reduced fat and almond) and the rest belongs to the skinny portion. And, at the back of the fridge there are piccolos of bubbly to lift my spirits after a shift at Lifeline.
ReplyDeleteI drink red wine for preference and it is on the bench top.
I don't usually buy water - our tap water is fine to drink, and I prefer it. This was in a gift pack I was given. I like red wine (I know it's better for me) but I prefer a glass of white. I drink beer only on the hottest of summer days :)
DeleteOur fridge is boring by comparison and the shelf only has room for milk. The cupboard in the dresser is different all together - full of hardstuff I'm not allowed to drink.
ReplyDeleteAhh - not a hard stuff fan myself - although a little scotch can do wonders for a cold ;)
DeleteHm, I feel the need of mixing up a drink and chasing it with milk ;-)
ReplyDeleteNothing lacklustre about this. The diversity is delightful! And thank you for the what's-in-the-fridge suggestion. I like it!
