Cloudy, the sequel

I couldn't resist posting a few more cloud pics for TP 206.
These are all from my April road trip, on a
cool and moody autumn day near Franz Josef glacier.




When I visited this lagoon at Okarito, I didn't see
one other person, although there were cottages
near the beach.




Then a stop at Lake Mahinapua, which brought back
memories of another life...


I hope you all have a cloudlessly happy Friday tomorrow.

    Thanks so much for the comment you left on my blog. :) I particularly love your Okarito pics. The gleaming low clouds in the mountains are a cool contrast to the dark overhead clouds. Have a great day!

      I'm glad you found it interesting enough to research it, thunder :)
      As you will have read, the glacier is retreating rapidly, as are(sadly)most of the others in the world...

    Wonderful. I especially like the one with the old dock posts. I photographed tons of those in Oregon. I don't know why I like pics with those in, but I think the shapes they make are fascinating.

    Oh I love clouds coming swiftly and so stunning as these you posted here. Especially that last photo, I'll grab a book and perhaps a fine bottle of wine and just enjoy reading in such beauty by the sea!
