I had to have a second go at this theme.
I've been searching through my travel albums for some more flashes of colour:
At a rice farm in Tuscany |
Pink meerkats in Portofino |
Vernazza, Cinque Terre |
In a vineyard near Parma |
Detail of a window in the Duomo, Milan |
A taxi in Palermo, Sicily |
Jiading, China |
I didn't dare go near my Turkish albums - otherwise this post might go on forever!

Love the meercats, the peacock and the lead light windows. Love them all in fact.
ReplyDeleteCould we have a whole Turkey post? Pretty please?
Oh the places you have been! What an amazing collection...even if these photos were in black and white they would still be lovely! Even the peacock. Did you get a ride in that charming taxi? I wanted to hunt a few more flash photos but I didn't get a chance....I'm happy to have seen these...!
ReplyDeleteI love that first picture, the reds black against the white stucco. Nice. The row of boats is pretty cool too, great second set of pictures. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI think they do color differently - and exquisitely - in Italy. What a wonderful exploration of the theme!
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with the meercats looking like flamingo lawn ornaments? Odd. Truly odd.
ReplyDeleteLove the stained glass pic. :)
I like the first one, too. And all of them! Ditto on the Turkey post request!
