I haven't taken part in Carmi's Thematic Photographic for some time. Must try harder!
The latest theme is Lightbulbs, so I found some bulbs to show you.
This bulb would light up quite a few homes at once:
Awhitu Lighthouse, New Zealand |
Lots of little bulbs can be effective, too:
Westfield Mall, Shepherd's Bush, London |
A fantastic lit-up slogan for a brilliant museum:
Victoria and Albert Museum, London |
University students singing by the banks of the River Douro:
Porto, Portugal |
And beautiful lightbulbs in Casablanca, Morocco:
Mosque of Hassan II |

Brilliant tribute to light bulbs (we're on the same wave link) today! Stunning captures Alexia!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen. It was good to have a theme that i could find some shots for.
DeleteWow, you've been to some gorgeous and interesting places. Great photos of lightbulbs!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Common Household Mom. I really love to travel!
DeleteLove that museum slogan. Which could equally well be a world slogan...
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect, isn't it? It's the first thing you see when you go into the main entrance foyer, and it took my breath away!
DeleteLove all those photos, really good, Alexia. But I do wish the V and A museum wouldn't 'steal' stuff that rightly belongs in another place!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gilly. I imagine that most museums do the kind of thing you refer to!
DeleteGreat shots, Alexia!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to end up with cars in traffic again. I'm just a wildlife kind of guy.

Thanks. At least you're going out and taking some for the occasion, rather than using last year's shots!

Captivated by the lighthouse from the start. I don't like malls but that shot is spectacular.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob. Lighthouses fascinate me, and I certainly agree with you about malls in general!
DeleteWhat a beautiful way to look at light bulbs. I simply love the photo of the mosque.
ReplyDeleteHello Carola. Thank you!
DeleteHi Alexia, I guess you are in the middle of winter now?
