"Everything's gone green" is Carmi's theme this week at Written.Inc
I hope my winter-weary northern hemisphere friends will get some greenery soon!
Here's some green from me:
Green-world dragon |
White dots on a green hill |
With Anzac Day fast approaching, we'll all be wearing poppies:
Pamukkale, Turkey |
New Zealand/Australian cemetery, Anzac Cove, Gallipoli |
From last spring:
Willow trees in spring finery |
I love that dragon...looks like a nice frog pond!

There were lots of frogs, thunder, judging by all of the little splashes and plops when I came along the path!
DeleteI can't wait to see some green outside my window. Great photos and I like the quotes. It would be so easy to convince my husband to eat veggies if they did smell as good as bacon!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I don't eat much meat, but I can't resist the smell of bacon! It's an honorary vegetable, I think...
DeleteHow I love that dragon. And Barbara Kingsolver is one of my heroes.
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful, beautiful images here - thank you.
I must admit I took a heap of photos of the dragon!
DeleteThank you EC.
Oh my if we hunger, (which most of do, it's been a long cold and extremely white winter) your photos here describe beauty in so many walks. Your white dots, are so grand to see wandering about, what a lovely cemetery as well. My favorite is the dragon and seeing a fountain with running water, yes! Thank you for this lovely morning visit!
ReplyDeleteOops, I forgot to mention, that last photo of mine was taken in Mexico. My daughter, Cierra and her hubby are there right now. I haven't been to Mexico since I was a little girl, and where we were was nothing like that!
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful. My only visit to Mexico was to places nothing like that!
DeleteI love that picture of the sheep on the hillside. Just the sort of country I love! Used to do a lot of walking in that sort of rocky place! Hope you get some spring greenery before too long - though hopefully your winter won't be as long as ours was!
ReplyDeleteI love that sort of country, too. Thank you, Gilly.
DeleteBeautiful shots. I love the sheep-covered green hill!
ReplyDeleteThanks Max!
DeleteI just love your photos. You remind me of our trip to Gallipoli a few years ago - it was a day just like the one in your photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I loved that part of my trip to Turkey - Gallipoli certainly has a special meaning for us, doesn't it?
Delete(Come to think of it, I loved pretty much everything about Turkey...)
