Transportation: trains and boats and planes, and four-wheeled conveyances,
might be the first things you think of... Here are a few others.

In Turkey I could have ridden on a traditional horse and cart
Caravanseray |
or on a camel
Aspendos |
but Ataturk's car doesn't move very far these days

In Italy I saw some healthier options
Milan |

But if you don't feel like peddling a bike
in Barcelona, there are plenty of cabs available!

Quite the variety you have here. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lisa.
DeleteI don't know if I could have resisted the camel ride. Great array of transportation shots.
ReplyDeleteCheers Max. I had no difficulty in resisting it...
DeleteExcellent!
ReplyDeleteThank you Steve :)
DeleteCamel travel!
ReplyDeleteI think I got a picture of some paddle boats at the golf course yesterday...
~
Yep - they look great all lined up like that...
DeleteBravo, I'm pretty sure I'd attempt using all of these! I have to put something together too after work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen... I can't compete with your cool shots ;)
DeleteThere's always legs too.
ReplyDeleteSlower but reliable ;)
DeleteI love those two photos of the cyclists with the arches - really good! But I don't somehow think the camel would be me!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Gilly - not my thing :)
Deletegreat ways to get around! i think i'll stick with a bike...(or my legs)...although the camel looks like fun...a bike won't spit at me!
ReplyDeleteYes they have a bad reputation, don't they?
DeleteI love your modes of transportation, there's some real adventurous ones here!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Thanks darlin - glad you dropped by!
DeleteI'm afraid it's mostly legs for me but I do have a camel shot or two but never thought of them. It wasn't the cabs in Barcelona that caught my eye but those red bikes with a contraption at the back - they look like bikes for hire.
ReplyDeleteThey are for hire, Bob - a great system. My son uses them all the time - you just swipe your card, then drop it off at another 'station' when you no longer need it.
Deletebeautiful.....
ReplyDelete(my bike's like the milan one)
I like that one best, mmp :)
DeleteGreat photos, Alexia. What's the deal with the Barca bikes?
ReplyDeleteThey have 'stations' of them all over the city, AK. You pay an annual fee, which is very small, and get a swipe card. When you want one you unlock it from the stand using the card, when you get to where you're going to return the bike to the nearest stand. It's an excellent system!
