  1. Great. Now I want to get out and go for a walk, but I'm stuck grading papers. Bleah.

  2. You see my mother would never be put out by this...if she wanted to investigate (which she always loved to do) she would slip right through that opening and go on through anyway. After all can't you see in the far off distance that there is something that requires our attention! Yes, I would no doubt follow along with her, as I so often did....this is just one of those lovely spots, once must wander about! Carefully of course!

  3. What a beautiful spot. And I have no doubts (having lived on properties) that the owner of the farm carefully lifts the remnants of that gate back so he can drive through, and equally carefully replaces it.
Starting my day with a smile. Thanks.

  4. Hang in there, Lisa. I've got lots to grade as well :(

Karen - well, that gate isn't going to stop anybody who wants to go through...

EC - yes, I can just see it happening that way!

  5. Clearly the farmer doesn't need to drive through the gate. Curious....
