How about a drink?

The theme for TP 327 - Drink - has me looking at some of what I've had to drink so far today.

At morning tea time, I had instant coffee; I only allow myself two cups of coffee a day:

At lunchtime, plunger coffee, the next best thing to Espresso:

And many times during the day, the best drink of all -
pure fresh cold water, straight out of the tap:

Cheers, sláinte, prost, bottoms up!

  1. Water is the best; prefer bottled. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thanks Doug. Bottled water is very expensive in this country, so it's a good thing our on-tap water is excellent.

  2. I have had lots and lots and lots of water. And three or four cups of weak tea. I do love both of them.

    1. And, as a reward after a challenging shift on the crisis line, shortly I am going to have a glass of bubbly. Just one.

  5. Goodness I don't think I could limit myself to just two coffees a day. That's probably the main reason I don't sleep too well at night.

    1. Hi Nicola. If I have coffee after around mid-afternoon, I don't sleep!

  6. I love water, ice cold. But in the morning, a cup of coffee, dark.

    1. Strayer - I have tea in the morning and evening. I guess I'm a real creature of habit!

  7. i usually have only 2 cups of coffee a day, both cups in the morning. (i like your puppy mug)
plunger coffee? never heard of that.
during the day, it's water for me. i take it from the tap too...but we have outside filter for the water coming in.

now...a drink at the end of the day...it's a bit stronger than coffee or water. :)

    1. Yes, laura - I didn't mention end-of-the-day drinks - essential!

  8. We have great tap water in D.C., Berkeley Springs W.V., and in Columbus Ohio.

So I'm lucky with that. I will happily drink more than two cups of java a day, though!

    1. I would love to drink more coffee, thunder, but cut down a few years ago. I do have really strong ones, though - even the instant.

    1. Thanks Gilly - it's my favourite mug. My daughter keeps commenting on how much she likes it, so if it ever disappears I'll know where it's gone :)
