Some day I will get to New Zealand! Wonderful photos, the colours and look at that first photo, the clouds, the bit of blue sky and sheep! Thanks Alexia. And think about the Camino as a retirement gift to yourself eventually. That's how I did it! Life can get so complicated and full of everything! The Camino is very simple, how far do I walk, where am I sleeping and when will I eat. That's it!
The last shot clearly show the angle of dip of the rocks. A geologist would love it there.
ReplyDeleteIt's a spectacular place, Bob.
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat is that water in the last pic?
~
It is the Clutha River, thunder, where it goes through the Cromwell Gorge.
DeleteThe river is fed by glacial melt, which is why it's that colour :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope to do some walking in Europe next year... probably just in France.
DeleteGorgeous, great pictures and beautiful scenery!
ReplyDeleteThank you Max :)
DeleteOh my, now these are some serious landscape captures. That body of water, or river, or? is quite remarkable too! I bet it was a wonderful road trip.
ReplyDeleteIt was indeed, Karen. It's a river gorge - see my reply to Bob, above :)
DeleteThey are indeed wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Badger! have you ever been across the Tasman to visit us?
DeleteThose are truly beautiful landscapes - and taken from just the right angle, just the right time, oh Alexia, I do envy you those!
ReplyDeleteAnd I envy you yours, Gilly :)
